Pay Range:

CNA - $25.00 - $27.00

Nursing Assistant Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• ADL's (activities of daily living such as dressing, toileting, nail and oral care)
• Assists with feeding of patient/residents
• Measuring and recording intake and output
• Weighing residents
• Assists in turning and positioning of residents
• Proper transferring techniques
• Protects organization's value by keeping patient information confidential
• Demonstrates appropriate knowledge for safe use of medical equipment

Nursing Assistant Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be Certified (CNA) -or- if NA-R you must show proof of your state exam or that you are scheduled to take your state exam.
• Current CPR
• Prior work experience in a direct patient care setting or in a long term care facility preferred
• In good physical health to be able to lift and move patients, and to be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
• Compassionate, Empathy and Courtesy
• Great communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
• Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a professional manner while remaining calm
